THE SECTOR'S BIG CHALLENGES

Local governments are undergoing profound changes today (redistricting, changing responsibilities, a public that misunderstands their role in this changing environment, etc.) as mistrust in government grows and budgets are slashed.

Today, local governments are facing a three-pronged challenge: strengthening the social bond with their constituents, whose expectations are all the more demanding, adapt and respond to new societal demands (energy transition, digital development, etc.) and ensure good management of local finances. With the ultimate goal of implementing increasingly effective public policies on behalf of citizens.

It is therefore essential for a local government to be able to identify the different opinions of its constituents in order to adapt and manage its public policies.

THE BVA APPROACH

BVA’s studies for local governments seek to provide a tailored solution by activating three main levers:

3. Services are provided in close collaboration with our integrated consulting teams, whose keen knowledge of local governments helps enhance the analysis and our recommendations and puts them to work for the study’s sponsor.
