The political world today is in total flux, experiencing a profound renewal of the methods by which citizens express their opinions, as well as by a growing defiance in personal politics.
In this context of social and economic crisis, the expectations of the French for public action are very important, and there are many challenges: the battle against unemployment, globalization, the European crisis, the rise in sectarianism, competition in the national economy, etc. All of this, in an environment where communication plays a more and more important role, and therefore so does each political comment that is made, especially on social networks. This context makes it necessary to go beyond purely quantitative measures in order to understand the status of opinion, taking into account both solicited responses and judgments that are spontaneously expressed.
With 40 years of experience in political opinion, BVA’s goal is to integrate the most recent changes in the methodological framework of its studies, while building on the experiments performed by its teams dedicated to innovation. These experiences are then shared with the integrated advice teams.
